Refreshed Client Texting Cadence & Messaging

Loved this project so much, all the juicy details almost didn’t fit on the graphic! 😂

My client and I took a refreshed look at their current texting program. 📱 We evaluated the cadence based on historical response rates and turn out rates, and worked through all of the existing messaging. We softened some of the wording, giving the texts a friendlier tone. 👋

We also wanted to take the opportunity to understand that specific audience member a little bit better when bringing them into the fold of the texting program (and overall marketing strategy), so we introduced a thoughtful poll question to understand their desired outcome and their primary reason for reaching out to my client. ❓ 📊

Gathering helpful audience insights that will help you nurture them going forward + making them feel seen, heard & understood = Win, Win! 🏆

Because of the nature of this client’s business, I immediately noticed there were several additional types of texts that they could consider working into their long-term cadence, such as unique behind the scenes content, inspirational & motivational quotes & sayings, as well as some playful, “We haven’t seen you in a while”-type messages. ✉️

Of course, like many clients, this texting program didn’t stand alone, but instead was part of a multidimensional marketing strategy across many channels. Because of this, we took the time to understand how this texting cadence intersects with the other messaging that audience member might receive. 🔀

We also recognized the limitations of technology and the immense impact of authentic human “touch” and voice within the marketing cadence, so we thoughtfully determined where to end the automation and have a real person take over, giving the client’s customer that 1:1 attention, as well as ability to connect with the brand and business directly, instead of simply being on the receiving end of messaging. 🤝
